This velcro sheet is designed to be used with the maroon thin line floor pads when stripping or sanding floors. It is recommended that a regular floor pad such as white or red is attached to the machine first, then the velcro pad, followed by the maroon pad. Because the maroon pads are much thinner that a regular floor pad they can wear faster while in use, if the pad is not checked often (and without the layered pad procedure) this can cause damage to your pad drive block.
